Terms
What an account holds
Your name, your date of birth, the country you live in, and whether the account is a student's or a parent's. It also holds the phone number, email address or Google account you sign in with, and which version of these terms you agreed to, and when.
A student's account also holds their diagnostic answers and their plan.
AI
When a student takes the diagnostic, an AI model reads their answers, and any answer a parent gives for that student's plan. It reads them as codes, never a name, a phone number or anything typed in by hand, and writes an analysis of the plan.
Linking a parent and a student
A code links a parent's account with a student's account, and either of them can make one. It works once, for 7 days. Nothing sends it: the person who makes it passes it on.
A student can have two parents linked at most, and a parent six children.
What a linked parent sees
A parent linked with a code sees the student's stages, how many steps in each are closed, and the dates. Not which steps, and not tasks or when they were ticked.
Where Jamals Global staff linked a parent with the wider view, that parent sees the student's stages, the steps a named person signed off, and the dates. Not tasks, or when they were ticked.
A student sees every parent linked to their account, and can remove a link that was made with a code.
